About Wild Lilac Wellness

Hi there! I'm Dr. Zarya Rubin, a Harvard-educated physician, a certified Integrative Health & Wellness Coach and the founder of Wild Lilac Wellness, a boutique health coaching practice in Portland, OR serving clients around the world. 

 

I help smart women suffering from chronic stress, chronic illness, overwhelm and burnout, regain control and live happier, healthier, more balanced lives. I'm also passionate about helping you make eco-conscious choices that serve your family, minimize your exposure to common toxins that impact health, and protect the environment.

 

Through our intensive, personalized work together, you will be empowered to CHOOSE YOURSELF, make healthy, sustainable swaps in your daily routine, recharge your batteries and reclaim your health.

Why Wild Lilac Wellness?

I've always wanted to protect those I love and share my knowledge with folks around me. The reason I am drawn to helping women, especially moms, is because I've been through some significant struggles of my own and know how we often suffer in silence; chronic fatigue, burnout, autoimmune disease, stress, crippling anxiety, GI issues - I've had them all. And I'm sure my diet, stress levels, and exposure to toxins in the environment all played a role.

 

As a physician, I provide state-of-the-science coaching, blended with a holistic approach that truly combines the best of all worlds. I approach complex problems in a unique, systematic way, while using my deep empathic skills to truly help heal patterns that have not served you over the years.  We will make choices and create new habits that nourish your body, mind and soul.

With the current state of the planet and the climate crisis we are facing, I also knew I wanted to be part of the solution, but it all seemed insurmountable and overwhelming. I realized that taking small steps to change habits can have a big impact. 

 

My transformation happened when I finally started prioritizing wellness and self-care, putting myself first, creating healthy swaps in my life, and taking control of my choices. What is Clean Living?

We hear a lot about "Clean" movements these days - Clean Eating, Clean Beauty, and more. What are they all about and why do I believe they are a critical step on the path to wellness? And how do you tune out all the noise and make sense of the conflicting information out there?

  • "Clean Eating" is all about whole foods, eliminating processed, packaged foods and focusing on ingredients that serve, rather than sabotage health.

  • The "Clean Beauty" movement acknowledges that our personal care products that we put on our largest organ (our skin!) every day are often filled with harmful chemicals. Consumers want better, and companies are listening. A handful are leading the charge in developing safe, effective, eco-conscious products for the whole family.

  • "Clean Living" to me means that the choices we make in our homes maximize health, minimize exposure to common toxins found in everyday products, and protect the environment.

 

It can seem overwhelming to make all of these choices, become a label-reading detective, and learn what works for you and your body and your family. That's why I'm here to help.
